Terms & Conditions
Find Your Hair — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: November 2025
Welcome to Find You Hair. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Find Your Hair (“we”, “our”, “us”) and you (“the client”, “you”, “your”) for all studio, mobile, and online services.
By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or purchasing through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Our Services
Find You Hair provides:
In-studio consultations, fittings, colour services, and customisation of wigs and hair systems. Mobile appointments across the North West (Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire) for an additional fee. Online consultations, bespoke orders, and Studio-Select (stock) system purchases. Rebonding, refitting, recolouring, and maintenance services for existing systems and wigs
All services are by appointment only.
2. Consultations
All new clients must complete an initial consultation (in person or online).
We assess hair type, scalp condition, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences.
If adhesives or colours will be used, a patch test is strongly advised at least 24–48 hours prior to your appointment.
Consultation fees (if charged) are non-refundable but may be credited toward your first service.
3. Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking or order.
Deposits cover studio time, preparation, and product reservation.
Once any customisation begins (colouring, cutting, or fitting), deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Balances are due on the day of service or upon dispatch of goods.
Payments accepted: debit/credit card, bank transfer, or secure website checkout.
4. Studio Appointments
Appointments are private and scheduled in advance.
Late arrival of more than 15 minutes may shorten your session or require rescheduling.
At least 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule while retaining your deposit.
Missed appointments or late cancellations result in deposit loss.
5. Mobile / Home Visits (North West Only)
Mobile visits are available by prior arrangement and subject to a call-out fee based on distance and time.
Clients must provide a clean, well-lit workspace, power socket, and nearby parking.
Travel and call-out fees are non-refundable once confirmed.
6. Bespoke Hair Systems
Bespoke systems are handcrafted to your exact measurements, base, colour, and density.
Production time is approximately 10–12 weeks, though delays may occur.
As all human hair is sourced from individual donors, no two systems are identical.
Minor variations in texture, colour tone, or density are natural.
Once confirmed, bespoke orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged.
7. Studio-Select (Stock) Systems
Studio-Select systems are ready-made pieces adapted during your appointment.
Once cut, coloured, or bonded, they become non-returnable and non-refundable.
Customisation makes a stock piece bespoke to you.
8. Online Purchases & Returns
Under UK consumer law, clients have a 14-day right to return eligible online purchases only if the product:
Is in its original, factory-produced state
Has not been cut, coloured, bonded, or altered in any way
Has never been worn, fitted, or exposed to adhesives or styling products
Is returned in unused, sealed condition within 14 days of delivery
Due to hygiene and customisation, any system that has been opened, fitted, or customised is non-returnable and non-refundable.
We reserve the right to inspect and verify that returned products meet the above criteria before processing an exchange or refund.
9. Waiting Times & Delivery Delays
Typical waiting time for bespoke orders: 10–12 weeks.
We are not liable for courier or customs delays beyond our control.
Estimated delivery times are for guidance only.
10. Maintenance, Repairs & Rebonding
We offer professional rebonding, recolouring, ventilation (repair), and maintenance for hair systems and wigs.
All maintenance work must be booked and paid in full prior to collection.
Skin and PU bases cannot be repaired or re-ventilated once damaged.
We also provide washing, recolouring, and re-styling with optional ventilation and refreshments for wigs and systems.
11. Colouring, Fading & No Guarantees
All human hair comes from different donors, so slight differences in tone, porosity, and texture are expected.
Exposure to sunlight, heat, or chlorine may cause fading or dryness.
We strive for colour accuracy but cannot guarantee long-term tone or identical results.
System lifespan and colour retention depend on individual aftercare, environment, and body chemistry.
12. Allergies & Patch Tests
You must disclose any allergies or sensitivities before booking.
Adhesives, tapes, solvents, shampoos, and colouring products may cause irritation or allergic reactions.
Patch tests for colours or adhesives are available and recommended before any service.
By declining a patch test, you accept all responsibility and release Find Your Hair from liability.
13. Hair Extensions
Extensions enhance natural hair but require correct maintenance.
Without proper care, breakage, shedding, or adhesive residue can occur.
Extensions are fitted according to the “hair-for-hair rule” to protect the natural hair.
If you request additional thickness against professional advice, a disclaimer must be signed.
Colour fade or minor breakage is not considered a fault.
14. Refunds & Returns
Due to hygiene and personalisation, refunds are not available once hair systems, wigs, or extensions are cut, coloured, or worn.
If a manufacturing fault is suspected, notify us within 7 days for assessment.
We will liaise with the supplier to determine a fair resolution.
15. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
A client displays aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour
Hygiene or scalp condition prevents safe service
A client’s expectations are unrealistic or unsafe
A client declines required patch testing or disclaimers
Refusal will never be based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
16. Client Responsibility & Liability
Find You Hair is not responsible for issues resulting from:
Ignoring aftercare instructions
Third-party alterations or at-home removal
Unapproved adhesives, dyes, or chemicals
Excessive heat or environmental exposure
Clients must maintain their system and attend recommended maintenance appointments.
17. Website Use & Product Descriptions
We aim for accuracy in all imagery and descriptions.
Slight colour, texture, or density variations may occur.
Prices and availability may change without notice.
18. Privacy & GDPR Compliance
Find You Hair complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Women’s Hair Solutions
Every woman’s experience with hair loss is different, which is why we focus on personalised, bespoke solutions rather than a single standard option. Before choosing a style or colour, we begin with a private consultation — online or in person — to understand your hair loss pattern, lifestyle and the level of maintenance you’re comfortable with. This ensures you’re matched with the right type of wig, topper or hair system from the start.
Hair loss can happen for many reasons: alopecia in all its forms, chemotherapy, hormonal changes, trichotillomania, medical treatments, stress-related thinning or simply wanting more volume. We also work closely with trans clients who want a natural, feminine look that feels authentic. Because these needs vary, each solution is tailored to the individual — never generic, never one-size-fits-all.
There are many options depending on your level of coverage: medical wigs, chemo-friendly wigs, lace-top and silk-top designs, hair toppers, partial pieces, mesh integration systems, extensions and custom pieces for specific areas. Each one has its own advantages and its own attachment methods, whether that’s tapes, soft bonding, micro-beads, clips or non-adhesive medical caps for sensitive scalps.
Your consultation helps us determine whether you need a lightweight topper for the parting, a full alopecia or medical wig, a mesh integration system for larger areas, or a combination of approaches tailored to the affected zones. We also consider your routine — gym sessions, sweating, outdoor work, humidity, heat styling and scalp sensitivity — because lifestyle plays a major role in choosing the right female hair replacement solution and the type of maintenance that will suit you long term.
It’s a calm, informative process designed to give you clarity. Whether you’re local to Manchester or travelling from across the UK, the goal is the same: to help you find a piece that feels comfortable, looks natural and supports your confidence without pressure or unrealistic promises.
